Today’s business companies are faced with challenges related to successful operations, and during the current major economic crisis many of them are failing. One of the solutions for companies experiencing difficulties is the active involvement of management. The subject of this research is to present and understand the concept and importance of management, organization, and the improvement of logistics in transport companies, in order to plan, manage, implement, and control the spatial and temporal transformation of goods in relation to their quantity, type, and characteristics, as well as their logistical determination, which directly affect business performance. This paper represents a concrete contribution to scientific research in the field of road transport, with a focus on solving logistics problems in transport companies and reducing operational costs through the direct influence of management. Objectives: In accordance with the results of the analysis, to define the positive effects that will arise from improved logistics in transport companies, with a focus on the vehicle fleet maintenance department. Conclusion: Defining the benefits achieved through improved logistics of the vehicle fleet maintenance service.
