In an era of rapid technological development and digital transformation of society, artificial intelligence has become one of the most important and widely discussed fields, influencing various aspects of everyday life and business. From the ways people communicate and access information to the development of advanced digital systems, the application of intelligent technologies is increasingly present in modern society. One of the significant areas of artificial intelligence is computer vision, which enables computers to recognize and analyze visual information from their environment. Computer vision technology is based on methods of machine learning and advanced algorithms for processing digital images, videos, and even biometric data. In this way, computer systems can identify objects and analyze visual data that can be useful in various decision-making processes. With the development of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), smart sensors, and digital cameras, the applications of computer vision are becoming increasingly widespread across numerous areas of contemporary society. This paper aims to present the basic principles and technologies of computer vision, as well as to analyze its application in modern digital solutions. The empirical part of the study includes a survey aimed at examining users’ awareness, attitudes, and perceptions regarding technologies based on computer vision.
