Abstract

In the current and future investment development of modern and contemporary freight truck transport vehicles, the selection of stainless and special materials in the construction of the supporting structure and designed interiors is increasingly being approached. This paper provides the basic technical and technological parameters for reliable performance of electric resistance spot welding on the chassis and body panels of freight trucks, in accordance with the standards for strength calculation, and based on a pressure force of 2.45 MN in the axis line of the trailer body connection element and its coupling to the traction elements of the truck mechanism. The paper deals with research based on mathematical and technical technological elements that form the basis for defining the technical and technological procedure for practical application. The selection and feasibility of the technological process is based on elements that provide full reliability for the safe process of exploitation of the technical transport vehicle - freight truck.
