Digital transformation of banks represents one of the most important modernization processes in the financial sector in the contemporary economy. Traditional banking models, which were based on physical branches and direct contact with clients, are increasingly being replaced by digital solutions such as online banking, mobile applications, automated service systems, and the use of advanced analytical tools. Digital transformation enables banks to achieve greater operational efficiency, reduce operational costs, and provide faster and higher-quality financial services. However, digital transformation also brings certain challenges, particularly in the areas of data protection, cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and the need for continuous improvement of employees’ digital skills. Despite these challenges, the digitalization of banking represents an inevitable process that significantly contributes to the competitiveness of banks and the further development of the financial system.
