Abstract

The summary of the conference on "Challenges and Opportunities in Renewable Energies" highlights key aspects shaping the present and future of the energy sector. The conference will explore the latest knowledge, innovations, and strategies aimed at transitioning to more sustainable energy sources. The focus will be on challenges such as technical constraints, economic sustainability, political barriers, and social changes arising from the transition to renewable energy sources. Given the acceleration of climate change, discussions will center around the urgency of transitioning to renewable energy sources and how technological innovations can mitigate these challenges. Examining various models of financing, incentives, and policy guidelines will be crucial for achieving a sustainable energy future. Additionally, the conference will showcase positive examples from practice, demonstrating how some regions have successfully integrated renewable energy sources into their energy systems. With active participation from experts, researchers, and industry representatives, the conference will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, networking, and identification of best practices. The goal is to stimulate a dialogue on the necessity of accelerating the transition to renewable energy sources and collectively develop strategies to overcome challenges and optimize opportunities in this critical sector.
