Measures adopted to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic have affected the reduction of population movement and the reduction of human contact. The new way of functioning of society and the new needs of society influenced the creation of new trends in urban planning, among which is the concept of a 15-minute city. A 15-minute city is a city composed of a neighborhood, where every neighbourhood is a place to fulfill important activities. Such a city is modelled in such a way that every inhabitant, or at least most of the inhabitants, can fulfill their daily needs and daily activities within 15 minutes, i.e. 15 minutes of walking or cycling from the place of residence. This paper presents and explains the concept of a 15-minute city and presents dimensions, as well as advice on transforming conventional towns into 15-minute cities. The paper concludes that the 15-minute city concept has its application in the post-pandemic period and that the transformation of conventional cities into 15-minute cities can influence the achievement of the economic, ecological and social sustainability of the city
