Abstract

The global crisis is also an opportunity for new steps forward in all economic spheres. The Covid 19 pandemic in Croatia has also encouraged agricultural producers to significantly adapt their production to the local market, taking advantage of consumers’ desire for more “fresh and authentic” products. In tourism, the motives for arrival are also changing, and the average tourist is increasingly turning to individual tourism, nature, authentic experiences and local gastronomy. Interest in undiscovered and authentic destinations is also growing, which opens up great opportunities for the development of continental tourism in Croatia.
