By focusing on the conditioned efficiency and effectiveness of goods flows, the purpose of this paper is to point to the importance and place of systematic study of goods flows through the process of valorisation of the traffic direction. The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of the appropriate processes of goods flows as well as the formation, distribution and attractiveness of the goods flows system for the more efficient implementation of the process of adaptation, connectivity and integration of total turnover in the international commodity exchange on the global market. The results of a holistic approach to trade flows with a special focus on the valorisation of the traffic direction and the attraction of goods flows point to the interoperability of all branches of transport on a particular corridor, assuming mobility and the rapid transfer of means of transport and cargo from one transport module to another. In this context, it is important to develop a methodology and concept of selection of adequate flow of goods, which to the greatest extent satisfy all established decisionmaking criteria in the planning process, and thus directly influences the increase of commodity exchange, transport security, reduction of negative impacts on the environment and increase of economic efficiency.
