Abstract

Modern processes of integration of traffic flows, socio-economic changes and property transformations, with rapid scientific and technological development, require not only a new business philosophy and strategy for the development of railways, but also a new way of thinking about the railways and its role in the economic development and progress of the entire society . This also includes awareness of environmental issues. The concept of sustainable development is one of the most influential ways of thinking in the face of facing new challenges. New needs of different users have caused the development of new methods of gaining competitive advantage. In an altered business environment, the railways must redefine and modify their earlier business behavior, focusing on the educational needs of their employees, including education for sustainable development.
