Due to the increasing demands on the cost-effective and efficient consumption of materials, the age limit of a motor vehicle that requires substantial material and work load has to be increased. It is necessary to inspect the carton of the vehicle and to estimate the optimal moment of exclusion of the vehicle from use, interrupt with further exploitation of the vehicle. The application of the reduced efficiency method provides an acceptable solution based on the cost model of a motor vehicle life cycle.
