Abstract

The modern entrepreneurship is a holistic category and its components should be considered as a whole. Recognizing the central position of entrepreneurship in economic activity, it is possible to point out the important characteristics of modern entrepreneurship (profit-oriented enterprise, dynamism and innovation, uncertainty, risk, anticipating of changes, judgment and decision-making, use of resources, the joy of creation, ethics, social responsibility, etc.), so it can be observed as a process that emphasizes the ability and activity of individual actors and society as a whole (using the changes, innovation and judgment in terms of new combination of limited production factors) designing and performance the venture that will result in a profit (and other social benefits). Only the courage and bravery will not be generators of new entrepreneurship, because on our lives it affects only through process of innovation (new products and services). Some of the new, the entrepreneurship-based company is filling a market niche, and they are established by individuals who seek to avoid the trend of layoffs of employees and managers, and they are aware that in the future entrepreneurship will play a major role in the life of society and every individual. Former managers and employees are increasingly establishing and running small entrepreneurial companies that provide high quality and high value services in the way they were not able working in large bureaucratic organizations. In this article we will provide some interesting aspects of entrepreneurship inherent to 21st century.
