Man as a factor in traffic safety is present directly, as a participant in traffic, and indirectly as a designer and builder of roads and vehicles, one that maintained and repaired roads and vehicles, as a person who makes the laws on traffic safety and taking care of their application, or the one that sets the road traffic signs and markings, or a person who educates road users. The man wants to build a reliable system of traffic management, which will be the best way to inform the participants in the traffic on the state of the entire transport system in the microenvironment, which will be achieved by using variables (smart) traffic signs. Classic (unchanging) traffic signs do not reflect the true state of traffic and traffic conditions at any time. This fact affects the awareness of drivers, where they do not believe in the validity of traditional traffic signs and do not always act in accordance with instructions or orders to "get" of traffic signs on the roads. Therefore, the increase of road safety to a large extent contribute to new technologies developed in the field of electrical engineering and communication in the system of regulation and control of traffic.
