Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly transformed modern agricultural production and management. The application of technologies such as precision agriculture, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), drones, sensors, and data analytics enables farmers to optimize the use of natural resources, increase productivity, and reduce negative environmental impacts. Digital tools allow more precise monitoring of soil conditions, crop growth, weather conditions, and pest control, which contributes to more efficient decision-making. In addition, digitalization plays an important role in promoting sustainable agricultural practices, as it enables more efficient use of resources, waste reduction, and improved overall farm management. The integration of smart technologies into agricultural systems also contributes to the economic development of rural areas by increasing competitiveness and encouraging innovation. This paper analyzes the role and potential of digital technologies in modern agriculture, with particular emphasis on their contribution to sustainable development, increased productivity, and long-term environmental protection.
