Abstract

Bosnia and Herzegovina, as one of the economically less developed countries, has a permanent need to monitor the development of new technologies without which accelerated economic development cannot be imagined. The importance of educational institutions, science, and training does not need to be emphasized in particular. The continuous development of new technologies creates the preconditions for the emergence of new products and services, which consequently leads to the creation of new occupations capable of operating and maintaining these technologies in the newly emerging environment. All of this should ultimately lead to greater and faster mobility and sustainable development. In this paper, special attention will be devoted to the analysis of the economic and financial crisis and its impact on the development of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian educational system, as well as the education of young people through monitoring the achieved level of development of new technologies. Particular emphasis will be placed on the level of education of young people in understanding and using new technologies, as well as the application of acquired knowledge after completing formal education in secondary schools and universities. In addition, we will address the emigration of young educated people from our country, which represents one of our most significant challenges.
