Abstract

For the establishment of new technologies in the function of sustainable development of the state and society in BiH, it is necessary to ensure appropriate legal prerequisites by adopting appropriate legal regulations in this area. The relationship of new technologies (the use of artificial intelligence, mobile internet and other modern forms of communication in society) to traditional forms of communication while still ensuring the protection of privacy and security represents an additional challenge in order to achieve efficient and sustainable development of society as a whole. This paper will provide an analysis of the relevant applicable regulations from the indicated topic, previous experiences and issues in their application, with recommendations for the adoption of missing regulations, in order to ensure complete legal certainty and efficiency of the functioning of new technologies in the development of society as a whole. So far, several laws have been adopted in BiH to regulate this area, namely: the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, the Law on Electronic Signature, the Law on Electronic Documents and the Law on Electronic Legal and Business Transactions. In addition, it is necessary to legally regulate the area of ​​protection of state information systems, protection of Cuber security, and to link the system of coordination in the work in this area of ​​all levels of government.
