Abstract

Sustainable mobile development in the context of accelerated urbanization can be seen as an important element for a strategy aimed at reducing negative impacts on the environment and overall quality of life. What is known is the fact of an increased number of motor vehicles due to the rise of urbanization. This is actually the reason to approach the transformation from a traditional concept to a sustainable mobility concept. This paper analyzes the need for changes not only in social habits but also in approach in order to protect and create long-term sustainable and healthy urban development through sustainable mobile development.
