Abstract

The transport system is the fundamental infrastructural segment of the economy with exceptional significance for the functioning of virtually all economic and social activities of eachcountry, for the life of the population and for inclusion in international flows of goods and passengers. That is why the economic power of a country is directly related to the state of development of traffic flows and roads. Traffic, along with energy and industrial plants, is the largest pollutant for human life, and especially for air. From the traffic, energy and industrial plants, the bulk of the emissions of harmful gases are generated, causing global warming of the atmosphere, harmful greenhouse effect, as well as the appearance of ozone holes and acid rains. Carbon combustion in the atmosphere causes increased carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, such as methane and nitrogen oxide, which, in addition to global warming, has an immediate effect on microclimate. Air pollution caused by urban traffic negatively affects people's health in cities. Exhaust gases and untreated air, depending on the current concentration and exposure of a person, can cause various problems and disturbances in endangered groups.
