Abstract

Technological innovations in road transport offer numerous technological solutions, both to improve road safety and to increase mobility availability. The use of innovative technology solutions promotes new and better quality services and facilitates access to users. Services such as safe and reliable travel, availability of public transport schedules, digital ticket purchases, travel information, taxi transportation, weather and traffic flow significantly stimulate mobility. Therefore, a mobility system is needed that will be safe, clean, connected and automated. It is necessary to take measures that will contribute to the improvement of road safety. The priority is the introduction of vehicles equipped with advanced technology solutions such as emergency braking systems, luggage retention systems, pedestrian and bicycle tracking systems and other advanced systems. In doing so, the mobility system should have low greenhouse gas emission standards that are harmful to the environment, and in particular CO2 emissions. Innovative technological solutions enable an advanced mobility system. Transportation will be safer, cleaner, cheaper and affordable for all users. A digitized transport information exchange environment will facilitate the flow of information and speed up a number of processes. In this way, cars will become automated and connected with the environment, which in the future will significantly influence the improvement of connected and automated mobility.
